It is said that kids nowadays turn so violent because of all those violent movies.Well if that's the case, lemme just asking something one thing. If violent movies influence kids today,so does other movie too.So if kids get violent seeing violent movies, wouldn't they drown seeing Titanic?wouldn't they jump trees to trees watching Tarzan?wouldn't they get stranded on a boat in the middle of the sea with a tiger on it?wouldn't those who watch Twilight be...we'll most of'em are who they're supposed to be....
I'm not objecting the whole statement, but I think putting the whole blame to violent movies is just not right.Besides, there were even violent movies in the 60's.You don't see 60's people get in an assault or a bank robbery or something violent...(okayh maybe some oldschool mafias did,but not everyone in the 60's were involved in violence, right.)So,don't blame the movies.
I admit that movies these days are actually quite violent in a way,but the real fact is that it's all in the child's mind.If violent movies or games nowadays actually affected the kids, just imagine the kids who played Super Mario Bros those days. All you'll be seeing in the streets are kids jumping on other people's heads and entering into sewers in search of gold coins.
So people, the fault isn't the movies or the games.Nope,I'm not about to blame their parents too. It's actually on the kids itself. They need to have the mind to accept reality rather than just follow fantasy footsteps.Even though I'm not blaming the parents, they still need to play their part in this, and of course so does their teachers, and even friends. ;)
I believe it is their parents fault.....teachers role has been the same since then.......its the parents who failed to play their role in pursuit of monetary which is undeniablely important in our current world.....so now the blame lies on the lifestyle I would say....
ReplyDeleteShananni, you're absolutely right in a way.But sadly, the society out there do not accept their fault. They just prefer to put the blame on others, rather than seeking a solution to these problems...
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment,Shananni...you made my day!!!
